Parentsneed to know that The Amazing Spider-Man sticks pretty closely to the standard superhero template. There's an average guy (Andrew Garfield) who mysteriously receives amazing powers and is suddenly thrust into the unfamiliar role of savior, some tame romance (kissing, flirting), mild swearing ("damn," "hell"), and lots of comic book-style action --

nonton film now you see me 2 sub indo. 1 2004 - ETATS-UNIS - Super-héros, Action, Blockbuster, Humains ou animaux génétiquement modifiés, La saga spider-man NEW YORK CITY AURA-T-ELLE ENCORE BESOIN DE L'HOMME ARAIGNÉE ? 2018 - ETATS-UNIS - Animation, Famille, Humains ou animaux génétiquement modifiés, Pour enfants, La saga spider-man Long-métrage d'animation produit par les studios Sony Pictures, Spider-Man New Generation ou Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse en anglais a pour héros Miles Morales, jeune homme devenant Spider-Man après Peter Parker. Quels films Spider-Man font partie du MCU ? Quand sortira la suite de Spider-Man No Way Home ? Tom Holland va-t-il encore jouer Spider-Man ? Sur Netflix sont disponibles le premier Spider-Man, Spider-Man 3, Spider-Man New Generation, Venom ainsi que Spider-Man Homecoming. Ce dernier est également sur Disney+ au même titre que Spider-Man 2, The Amazing Spider-Man et sa suite et tous les films mettant scènes les Avengers. Far From Home et No Way Home sont visibles, eux, en Blu-Ray, DVD ou sur des sites de VOD, tout comme Venom Let there be Carnage et Morbius.

Andrew Garfield returned as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, as well the other principle cast members from The Amazing Spider-Man. Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, and Paul Giamatti joined the cast as Max Dillon/Electro, Harry Osborn/Green Goblin and Aleksei Sytsevich/Rhino respectively. The film was released May 2, 2014.[4] The film was released on DVD and Blu-ray on August 19, 2014, and in digital HD on August 5.[7] Synopsis In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker Andrew Garfield, life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen Emma Stone, high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro Jamie Foxx, emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn Dane DeHaan, returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.[5] Plot In a flashback, Richard Parker records a video message in an attempt to explain himself of his experiments at Oscorp before his disappearance. Along with his wife Mary Parker, he boards a flight that is hijacked by a man sent to kill him. He thwarts the attempt on his life while trying to send the video to a secret location. In the present day, Spider-Man is in pursuit of criminals carrying a truck full of dangerous chemicals called plutonium through the city. Whilst talking to Gwen Stacy on the phone, he sees a vision of her late father, Captain Stacy, and is reminded of the promise he made to stay away from Gwen. During the chase, he saves the life of a man named Max Dillon. Afterward, Peter meets Gwen at their high school graduation ceremony where the two share a kiss. However, later in the evening, Peter tells Gwen about the visions he's been having and insists that he needs to keep his promise in which Gwen breaks up with Peter. After years of being away from the city, Harry Osborn returns as the heir to Oscorp Industries and talks with his father, Norman, who is in very poor health. Norman explains to Harry that the illness is genetic and that Harry is at the age where it will begin to show. Before he dies, he gives Harry a small device which he claims contains his life's work. The next day, it is reported that Norman Osborn has passed away, making Harry Osborn CEO of Oscorp. Max Dillon, now assuming that he and Spider-Man are best friends, attends work on his birthday as an electrician at Oscorp. Whilst tending to some dangerous maintenance, he loses his balance and falls into a tank of modified electric eels being used for experiments. As a result, he becomes a human mass of electricity. The next day, Peter sees the news of Norman's death. At the same time, Harry is in a meeting with the board, where they discuss Oscorp's issues, starting with the "intense public scrutiny in the wake of Dr. Connor's recent breach of trust", meaning everyone is mad at Oscorp because Dr. Connors tried to turn everyone in New York City into giant lizards. "Given that, all the animal hybrid programs he was involved in were destroyed to restore investor confidence." After hearing this, Harry in disappointment states that "that is the Osborn way!" That "whatever's inconvenient" just gets rid of. Harry is told that much of the scrutiny will fall on him now that he is the CEO. The board feels that plausible deniability is Harry's best option. Harry then goes on to rant about how he's a 20 year old kid with a $200 billion dollar company and doesn't understand what his dad was thinking. He points out that everyone on the board are lawyers and that someone should've questioned his Norman's sanity in the end. That someone should've had him declared legally incompetent, which would've made the current conversation a whole lot easier. When the corporate lawyer tries to explain, first by calling him "Harry", Harry cuts him off stating that it's "Mr. Osborn" and that they're not friends. As the room quiets down, Harry notices Felica Hardy, who becomes his new assistant due to being Norman's assistant before he died. He tells everyone at the table that they work for her, because she works for him. The meeting is interrupted when Harry is told that Peter has arrived and is waiting for him and the two are reunited after ten years, as they catch up and hangout at a park while the board secretly spies on their conversation. Afterwards, Peter meets Gwen in an attempt to maintain a friendship. Meanwhile, Max Dillon wakes up in the crematorium, where he discovers his new powers. He grabs a jacket and heads out. While walking outside, he hungers for energy and absorbs the power source of the nearby cars before heading to Times Square, where he feels more energy. While Gwen and Peter hangout, Gwen tells Peter that a job opportunity means she has to move to England. Before the two can discuss it, Max accidentally shuts off the power to Times Square whilst looking for electricity to power himself. Max is seen all over time square where he is actually seen. Spider-Man attempts to calm the situation down. Spider-Man then saves people from his destruction. As Electro is replaced by Spider-Man all over Times Square which Electro then thinks Spider-Man is nothing but selfish. But after the police try to shoot him, Max thinks that Spider-Man has betrayed him and attacks. Spider-Man eventually stops him and he is taken to the Ravencroft Institute. Later, when Peter is home resting when he sees himself on the news, and with complications with Gwen, he makes a collage on the wall in his room of her and mainly his thoughts on his parents mysterious disappearance. Meanwhile, Harry begins to show symptoms of his illness and uses the device his father gave him to access computer files of Oscorp, where he stumbles upon substation documents that contain a video of "next generation military body armor that features an enhanced mobility unit, battlefield injury repair and a direct nervous system interface." He then stumbles upon the double zero project, which is his and Peter's father's research that includes the household common spiders that contain the power to self heal from severe infection, tissue damage, et cetera, etc.. It explains that they've used a radioactive isotope with compatible human DNA. Ironically it is the same spider bit Peter, and Harry believes that Spider-Man's blood could save him. Meanwhile, after his first fight with Electro, Peter looks up some YouTube videos describing how batteries can hold a certain amount of charge, but get fried and/or explode from overcharging. The next morning, as Harry is dying of his terminal illness, he wants Spider-Man's blood, believing it and its healing abilities to be his only hope for survival. He calls Peter and asks for help and when Peter meets him, Harry believes that he knows Spider-Man because Peter takes his pictures. Peter denies it, but Harry still insists that Peter finds Spider-Man, having Peter reluctantly agree before leaving. Dr. Kafka experiments on Max Dillon, who then dubs himself Electro. At home, Aunt May asks Peter about his recent research. Peter claims there's something she's not telling him while also pointing out that everytime he mentions his parents, her eyes go down and he asks her to tell him about his father. She tells him about how his father left him, turning a little boy's his world upside down with no explanation. With Peter claiming that he needs to know, AuntMay tells him everything she knows, informing him that after the funeral of his parents, two government men showed up at her doorstep claiming that he betrayed the Oscorp with important research that people would've paid a lot for. Afterwards, Spider-Man visits Harry and refuses to give him his blood, despite wanting to help, fearing that his blood may harm or kill Harry, or even turn him into a monster like what happened with the Dr. Connors, who became the Lizard. Harry responds that he's already dying, so he's got nothing to lose and aggressively calls Spider-Man a fraud who only pretends to give hope. Peter then shows up to Gwen's location and tries to talk to her about what he's learn about his parents and about how he wants to save Harry, but can't. Before he can say what he wants to say, they are interrupted by the desk lady and Peter asks where they are with Gwen responding, telling him that she is having her last interview at Oxford. Back at home, Peter is frustrated with the way things are going and destroys the collage he made. He then throws a calculator at the wall, which has many subway tokens disperse from it. On the tokens, it says "Roosevelt" and Peter does some research on it. Meanwhile, Harry is also frustrated with the way things are going. Felicia asks for his well being and offers if there's anything he can get her. Harry responds, saying the only thing he needs are the spiders that died, before telling her to take the day off. Felicia then gives Harry some information, claiming that she overheard Menken talking with one of the security heads, claiming that Oscorp extracted and kept the venom of the spiders before killing them so that they could comply with lawsuits, but still keep the data of the spiders incase it ever became useful. When Harry asks where it is, Felicia claims it to be on a secret sublevel called "Special Projects". Harry then begins researching "Special Projects" files within the Oscorp mainframe, where he learns of the Oscorp current experiments on Max Dillon, who's calling himself Electro. Upon interruption, Harry has been framed by members of the Oscorp board for covering up the accident involving Max Dillon and they remove him from his position as CEO. Peter's research on Roosevelt leads to him discovering the location of his father's lab in a disused section of the New York Subway. After gaining entry, Peter discovers a video message from his father in the lab which detailed his father's work where Richard explained that Norman Osborn was the one selling the secrets, and when Richard objected Norman falsified evidence against him. Richard also revealed that the cross-species spiders were encoded to his DNA and would only work on his bloodline - Exonerating Peter from guilt about Harry as he had in fact saved his friend by not giving him his blood. Richard also explains that the reason he had to leave New York because he wasn't willing to go along with Norman Osborn's plans to use what they had created for biological weapons with his research. On his way out, Peter then receives a voicemail message from Gwen, telling him that she was offered the job in England and was heading to the airport to fly there earlier than expected because of an earlier class. Peter manages to catch her and professes his love for her, and the two agree to go to England together. They are interrupted by a blackout caused by Electro. Peter takes Gwen down where the police are and Gwen helps him with his web-shooters to go against Electro. Peter heads off to fight with Electro having the upper-hand. As Electro has Spider-Man in the air and is electrocuting him, Gwen comes in a police car and hits Electro, against Peter's demands, saying that it was her choice to help him. The two plan to defeat Electro by overloading his electricity supply Just after they do so, Harry Osborn arrives, now as the Green Goblin, and figures out Spider-Man’s identity by noticing Spider-Man and Gwen together. Harry wants revenge for being refused the life-saving blood transfusion. Goblin takes Gwen and drops her where Spider-Man catches her. The two fight at the top of a clock tower and Spider-Man manages to subdue the Goblin. However, during the fight, Gwen falls and is supported by a web connected to one of the gears. The gears give way and Gwen again falls. Goblin is then defeated and Peter tries to save Gwen using his web. As Peter webs to catch her, she hits her head on the floor dying from the impact. Five months pass and Spider-Man is nowhere to be seen in New York, as Peter spends every day at Gwen's grave. Meanwhile, Harry Osborn is visited by Gustav Fiers who tells him that they have found a man suitable for operating a large suit of armor developed by Oscorp. The man is Alexsei Sytsevich - the criminal stopped by Spider-Man at the start of the film. He attacks the city streets in the suit, going by the name The Rhino. Peter is inspired by a recording of Gwen's graduation speech and makes his return as Spider-Man to fight Rhino. Production history Previously, The Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb has said that he was unsure that he would return to direct its sequel, but it has been confirmed that he will.[8] Columbia Pictures has also announced that James Vanderbilt will be penning the sequel.[9] Columbia Pictures has confirmed that Marc Webb will be directing the Amazing Spider-Man sequel.[10]Star Trek writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, and Fringe writer Jeff Pinkner wrote the screenplay, based in part on a draft from The Amazing Spider-Man scribe, James Vanderbilt. In an interview, Webb has said that the film's script is completed and that shooting would begin in January of 2013.[11][12] However, later, Webb stated that filming would begin in the upcoming February instead and would take place in London.[13] When the filming began, Webb released a small TASM 2-related pictures each day on Twitter. One picture, in particular, led to the speculations of famous Spider-Man villain Venom being in the movie and being portrayed by Dane DeHaan, the actor playing Harry Osborn.[14] Even DeHaan once tweeted something that caused fans to debate whether or not he will play the villain.[15] Cast Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn/Green Goblin Colm Feore as Donald Menken Felicity Jones as Felicia Hardy Paul Giamatti as Aleksei Sytsevich/Rhino Sally Field as Aunt May Embeth Davidtz as Mary Parker Campbell Scott as Dr. Richard Parker Marton Csokas as Dr. Ashley Kafka Louis Cancelmi as Man in Black Suit Max Charles as Young Peter Parker Novak as Alistair Smythe Sarah Gadon as Kari Michael Massee as Gustav Fiers Jorge Vega as Jorge Kari Coleman as Helen Stacy Skyler Gisondo as Howard Stacy Charlie DePew as Philip Stacy Stan Lee as Graduation Guest News A hint toward The Amazing Spider-Man 2's villain was revealed within the first movie's post-credits scene when a mysterious man spoke with Curt Connors in a mental asylum.[16] Actor Simmons has said that he is willing to play J. Jonah Jameson chief editor of the Daily Bugle in the second film if the studio lets him. However, nothing has been said of the issue from Webb or the studio.[17] It may be a good choice, as Simmons has played and was well-awarded for playing Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy. Webb has commented on the issue, saying that anything can happen.[18] It was once unclear whether or not Garfield was to return as Spider-Man,[19] but it has been confirmed that he will.[20] Stan Lee says he wishes to have a bigger cameo in this film than he did in the first, even telling Webb that he would like to have a bigger role in the plot, saying, "[My cameo] was alright, but it wasn't big enough. You refer to it as a cameo. Couldn't we think of it as a leading role? ... Now, I'll admit, I was great doing that little thing and walking away and stamping the books. People haven't stopped talking about it. But, I think in the next one, maybe we ought to go a little deeper and probe the real me. ... People are still talking about that cameo and saying, 'Why wasn't it longer?' Why couldn't I have stamped more books?"[21] However, it is likely that Lee was joking about the leading role talk, but he will still probably remain a spot in the movie as a cameo appearance. It is also possible Lee may make an appearance as the fictional character by the name of simply Stan, similar to what he did in the first film. Spider-Man universe villain Electro was once only rumored to appear,[22] but he's now been confirmed. Two actors were in talks to play him, Homeland actor Damian Lewis[23] and Ray actor Jamie Foxx,[24] but Foxx gained the role.[25] After not being chosen for the role of Electro, Lewis was in talks to play Norman Osborn for the film,[26] but the role was taken by actor Chris Cooper as of February 27, 2013. Foxx has stated to Entertainment Tonight that he likes Electro as a character and is excited to portray him.[27] Foxx also said that the costume for TASM 2's Electro will not be green and yellow Electro's most well-known color scheme in comics due to the look being too silly to use in a darker-toned film series.[28] Instead, the film's costume will be more influenced by the "Ultimate Marvel" version of Electro, which does not don the green and yellow either. Electro's suit has been revealed to "be black," according to Foxx. This will represent the Ultimate Electro more than the classic in the film.[29] Electro's origin story has been revealed by Foxx himself, and it appears that it will differ from the Electro fans knew from the classic comic books.[30] Lee and Webb stated that Spidey may take on new Web-Shooters in the film.[31] Additionally, Spider-Man's suit will change almost completely to make it look more similar to the original version; Webb has said that the studio may even make the eyes bigger.[32] Webb had released a small teaser video featuring the design for the new suit's eyepiece. On 25 February 2013, the fifteenth day of TASM 2's filming production, Webb released a photo showing the head, bicep area and torso of the new Spider-Man suit.[33][34] Spider-Man's new look. Multiple actors for the role of Harry Osborn were being considered,[35] and the role was confirmed to be played by Chronicle actor Dane DeHaan.[36] Actor Martin Sheen, who played Ben Parker in the first film, has confirmed he will return for the second.[37] However, it is unknown whether or not he will return in the film in a flashback since he was murdered in the first. It was first rumored,[38] but then confirmed that the character Mary Jane Watson will be played by actress Shailene Woodley in both sequels.[39][40] Additionally, Kirsten Dunst former Mary Jane actor in the original Spider-Man trilogy has stated her approval for the actress.[41] After short talks,[42] actor Paul Giamatti will be playing the villain Rhino in the sequel; the same character that was featured in the video game.[43][44][45] Famous Spider-Man villain "Venom" the symbiote in TASM universe is hinted to appear in the film by a picture Webb tweeted on Twitter. It is also hinted that Dane DeHaan, the same actor playing Harry Osborn, will play the villain.[46] [47] On February 15, 2013, Marc Webb released posted a video that shows a brief glimpse at what may be Spider-Man's black costume from the comics.[48] Actor Colm Feore featured in another Marvel Entertainment film Thor has been confirmed to portray a role in the film,[49] but the role itself is unknown. He has been rumored to play Norman Osborn, Harry Osborn's father, and CEO and founder of Oscorp Industries. Actress Felicity Jones is to have a role in the film, but it is currently unknown who she will play. It is rumored by many that she will play Felicia Hardy as the "Black Cat," especially due to her name being so similar to the characters. Additionally, Anne Hathaway villain Black Cat actor in the fourth Spider-Man film unlike her comic counterpart who became the Black Cat, Raimi's Felicia was to become The Vulturess. Actor Brian Haley is said to play Phil Watson, Mary Jane Watson's father, in the film by IMDb,[50] however, the actor nor the role is confirmed. Electro's appearance was finally revealed by Webb, as he is seen walking like a zombie through Times Square.[51] Videos Trailers & TV Spots The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - OFFICIAL Trailer - In Theaters May 2014TrailerThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 Official International Trailer 1 2014 - Andrew Garfield Movie HDInternational Trailer 1The Amazing Spider-Man 2 International TRAILER 2 2014 - Marvel Superhero Movie HDInternational Trailer 2The Amazing Spider-Man 2 International TRAILER 2014 - Rise of Electro - Marvel Movie HDRise of Electro TrailerThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 Extended International TV SPOT 2014 - Marvel Movie HDInternational TV Spot 1The Amazing Spider-Man 2 International TV SPOT 1 2014 - Marvel Movie HDInternational TV Spot 2The Amazing Spider-Man 2 International TV SPOT 2 2014 - Marvel Movie HDInternational TV Spot 3The Amazing Spider-Man 2 International TV SPOT 3 2014 - Marvel Movie HDInternational TV Spot 4The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Final Trailer OFFICIALFinal TrailerThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 International TRAILER 3 2014 - Marvel Movie HDInternational Trailer 4The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Extended UK TV SPOT - His Greatest Battle Begins 2014 - Movie HDInternational TV Spot 5 Clips The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Movie CLIP - Neighborhood Ornament 2014 - Paul Giamatti Movie HDNeighborhood OrnamentThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 Movie CLIP - Skipping Rocks 2014 - Andrew Garfield, Dane DeHaan Movie HDSkipping RocksThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 Movie CLIP - Times Square Sniper 2014 - Andrew Garfield Movie HDTimes Square SniperThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 Movie CLIP - Times Square Slow Motion Save 2014 - Movie HDTimes Square Slow Motion SaveThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 Movie CLIP - Peter and Gwen Kiss 2014 - Andrew Garfield Movie HDPeter and Gwen KissThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 2014 - Kissing in the Closet Scene 1 10 MovieclipsKissing in the ClosetThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 2014 - I'm Electro Scene 2 10 MovieclipsI'm ElectroThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 2014 - Peter's Father Scene 3 10 MovieclipsPeter's FatherThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 Movie CLIP - Harry and Electro 2014 - Andrew Garfield Movie HDHarry and ElectroThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 2014 - Breaking Out Electro Scene 4 10 MovieclipsBreaking Out ElectroThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 2014 - Becoming Goblin Scene 5 10 MovieclipsBecoming GoblinThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 2014 - I Love You Scene 6 10 MovieclipsI Love YouThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 2014 - Spider-Man vs. Electro Scene 7 10 MovieclipsSpider-Man vs. ElectroThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 2014 - Electro Overload Scene 8 10 MovieclipsElectro OverloadThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 2014 - Spider-Man vs. Goblin Scene 9 10 MovieclipsSpider-Man vs. Green GoblinThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 2014 - Gwen's Fall Scene 10 10 MovieclipsGwen's Fall Interviews The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Interview Special Promotional The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Viral Video - Times Square 2014 - Spider-Man Movie HDThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 Featurette - Sustainability 2014 - Emma Stone Movie HD"Sustainability" FeaturetteThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 Featurette - Gwen and Peter 2014 - Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield Movie HDGwen and Peter FeaturetteThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 Featurette - Becoming Peter Parker 2014 - Andrew Garfield Movie HDBecoming Peter Parker FeaturetteThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 WEB SPOT - Oscorp 2014 - Andrew Garfield Movie HDOscorpThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 WEB SPOT - Street Chase 2014 - Andrew Garfield Movie HDStreet ChaseThe Amazing Spider-Man 2 WEB SPOT - Times Square 2014 - Andrew Garfield Movie HDTime Square Gallery Promotional Stills Behind the Scenes Trivia The film's working titles were London Calling and Untitled Columbia Pictures Project. This was the last film of Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man series as Marvel Studios & Sony Pictures decided to reboot the franchise by setting it into Marvel Cinematic Universe with Tom Holland taking over the role as Peter Parker / Spider-Man with his first appearance will be Captain America Civil War. The original script treatment for the sequel, written by James Vanderbilt during filming for the first film, with input from both director Marc Webb and Travis Beacham, was similar yet vastly different from the final release, prior to rewrites by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci The film was going keep the tone and aesthetic from the first movie, And as such, Peter would still have his original suit, at least for the first act. Electro would be the sole villain, while Harry Osborn would play a smaller role, albeit his subplot regarding his sickness would still be in play. Mary Jane Watson had a supporting role as well, befriending both Peter and Gwen and offering them helpful advice when they confide in her about their doubts. She even had her own subplot involving her abusive father Philip, who would constantly torment her and her mother, only for Peter, as Spider-Man, to intervene and web him up while chastising him over his cruel behavior, leading Mary Jane become immensely infatuated with him. Rather than Donald Menken, Rajit Ratha would be Harry's advisor as his death by The Lizard's hands in ASM1 was scrapped and would be far more helpful and sympathetic to Harry's plight, being the one to tell him his father had left behind a contingency for him to save his life, but would meet his death by Electro during an attack on Oscorp Tower. Max Dillon would show a far more obsessive and unstable admiration of Spider-Man after the hero saved his life, leading to him to try and help Spidey when a gang of robbers came to steal a plutonium cache which would be changed to the prologue and the theatrical cut, and his reckless attempts cause him to fall in the tank of electric eels that transform him, giving Spidey more direct involvement in his origin and thus more cause to feel guilty. Gwen would feel more torn about whether she should travel to London to attend Oxford or stay behind to be with Peter, with Mary Jane acknowledging but they seem complete when they're with each other, leading her to ultimately stay behind. However during Electro's attack on the Tower, he would absorb the power grid, becoming pure energy and directly disabling an overhead plane to crash into the center of the city, to which Gwen tries to talk him down. Two climaxes were considered, between Peter and Gwen managing to defeat Electro by rupturing the Tower's plumbing system, causing a geyser to explode out of a tank and engulf him short-circuiting him and leaving him unconscious to be imprisoned in Ravencroft Institute, or like in the final film, overloading the entire power grid, causing him to explode, but as Gwen is in the immediate vincinity, she gets violently electrocuted by the electromagnetic burst, killing her as opposed to being killed by Harry as the Green Goblin leaving Peter devastated. Two separate endings were written considering whether Gwen survived or died, were you either Peter and her would begin attending Empire State University with Mary Jane, met by Harry during a frat party and seeing off Flash as he gets ready to ship off to the military or similar to the final film, a bigger focus on Peter's grieving and consoling by Harry and Mary Jane. Harry would not become the Green Goblin although the ending shows him finding something left behind for him by his father on Norman's private yacht, building up for the third film. Rhino and Felicia Hardy were also not present, nor was the bullied boy who stands up to Rhino at the end in a costume before Spidey arrived. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Reviews Movie Reviews By Reviewer Type All Critics Top Critics All Audience Verified Audience Movie Reviews By Reviewer Type Aug 15, 2022 The romantic heart of the film has real potential, but it feels undone by the filmmakers' tireless mission to include the requisite trappings of a superhero epic—every last one of them, no matter how graceless or overcrowded their inclusion may be. Jan 22, 2022 There's this troubling sense about The Amazing Spider-Man 2 that it unfolds mostly in service of Sony's plans to create its own Marvel Cinematic Universe around the superhero and his archenemies. Jan 16, 2022 The majority of its 142 minutes are devoted to cross-film story arcs and subplots, without a lot of space left over from a strong narrative through-line. Dec 23, 2021 Two fantastic leads can't save this film from it's over-stuffed script with competing visions. Dec 17, 2021 Far better than the first one and something that might improve in time. Sep 9, 2021 Hampers its blend of spectacular action and tender romance by being forcefully shaped into a sequel delivery service. Feb 1, 2021 The busiest superhero movie in recent memory. Dec 4, 2020 The necessity and significance of beginning the franchise anew falters even further. Sep 1, 2020 The Amazing Spider-Man 2 isn't the perfect Spider-Man film. Jul 16, 2020 The major problem with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is that it has a convoluted and unbalanced plot, clearly not learning its lessons from Spider-Man 3 about having too many villains in one film. Jul 8, 2020 The Amazing Spider-Man 2 works best when Peter isn't wearing the trademark red and blue suit, when he's just being a kid. The superhero side, however, falls short. Mar 25, 2020 There isn't that one obvious thing that doesn't work about this particular reboot. It's a lot of tiny things that don't work feeding into a tributary system of things that don't work, which eventually dumps into an entire ocean of not working. Feb 15, 2020 With appalling dialogue, slapstick humour, some bizarre aesthetics, and cheesy moments aplenty Peter's Spider-Man theme ringtone or Electro beating Spidey up to the tune of "Incy Wincy Spider", this is the Batman & Robin of the Spider-Man franchise. Nov 22, 2019 While The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is still more charming than The Avengers, it falls prey of trying to do too much. Aug 6, 2019 Spider-man's new costume looks swell, and Emma Stone is charming. Those are the only two things about The Amazing Spider-man 2 I didn't hate with the fiery anger of a thousand exploding suns. Jul 31, 2019 The Amazing Spider-man 2 can serve to entertain, especially if you love 3D and special effects interspersed with the occasional expertly acted scene. Jul 5, 2019 Plodding and overstuffed where it should be light and nimble, feeling more like a product than a labor of love. Jun 11, 2019 It's fun, but nothing more. Mar 20, 2019 While it shares problems with its predecessor, it also confirms Garfield as the very best big screen iteration of Spidey. What's more, there's even perhaps an argument that he's the strongest of all of Marvel's movie misfits. Feb 1, 2019 The fifth web slinger film since 2002 the second in this reboot is overstuffed with plot threads flying everywhere, but there is just enough there to keep the series alive. Do you think we mischaracterized a critic's review?
